Actiontec Dsl Modem Issues Connecting MR814v2 802.11b Wireless Router To Actiontec GT701 Dsl Modem?
Issues connecting MR814v2 802.11b wireless router to Actiontec GT701 dsl Modem? - actiontec dsl modem
I can not connect a laptop to the router through a DSL modem. There are times when the laptop is plugged in, and I'm able to surf the Internet, but lose the connection on my desktop and vice versa. Could it be that the Actiontec DSL modem is not compatible for a wireless connection? Qwest began to disturb me.

Hello Ami,
My name is Steve and I work for Qwest. I cannot really tell what is happening from your post because I’m not really sure how you are, or are not connected via the laptop. I can get someone to help you with this if you like. If you have Qwest high speed internet, we can assist you. This modem should support wireless connectivity in most cases. If you would, please feel free to email our Consumer Affairs team via email, we can help resolve the issue. Email us at TalkToUs@qwest.com and we can get this addressed. Be sure to include your name, account number and address so we can verify you are the responsible party on this account. Looking forward to getting this resolved.
Sincerely,
Regards
Steve

Check the DHCP settings of the router .... must be defused. The modem should this ...... is a simple mistake. Visit the router using the IP address 192.168.1.1 ..... or something like that and can change these settings. If you need help, please let me know.
